My approach to helping
Psychotherapy teaches you how to replace negative and unproductive thought patterns with more present and beneficial ones. Treatment focuses on exploring your thoughts, emotions, and interpersonal relationships to help you gain greater clarity and self-awareness. Treatment will be tailored to your individual needs, enabling you to care for your symptoms and to improve your wellbeing. Both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy are available.
Fluent English speaking and cross-cultural experience
I have lived abroad in the U.S. (North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois) and Europe (Germany, Spain) at different life stages: as a foreign exchange student and as an expatriate for my job. These experiences have enriched both my cross-cultural background and my understanding of the difficulties in adjusting to a new environment may bring. I currently work with foreign students and international workers who require individual support in Rome.
